I learned to navigate the submission process, including how to effectively pitch ideas, adhere to editorial guidelines, and engage with feedback constructively.

Film Production

I enjoyed building experience in both the creative and technical aspects of filmmaking.

Practical workshops allowed us to experiment with camera techniques, lighting setups, and sound design, emphasizing the importance of these components in creating a compelling visual narrative.

Additionally, we explored the production process, from pre-production planning and budgeting to post-production editing.

Media Law
& Ethics

This module gave me a framework for understanding legal and ethical considerations that govern the media industry.

We delved into key legal concepts such as defamation, privacy, intellectual property rights, and the regulatory environments that media professionals must navigate.

Redefining Politics

I chose to create an e-magazine, Redefining Politics, as part of my final year project.

This initiative was born in response to the notion that younger generations were becoming increasingly apathetic to politics. I wanted to demonstrate to young people that we were still very much involved in forms of political demonstration – but in unconventional ways.
